An Audience With the Supreme Gyalwang

Recently, Chöje Lama Wangchuk Topden, Tulku Damcho and several administrators of Thrangu Monastery sought an audience with His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa, the embodiment of the enlightened activity of the victors of the three times, concerning the reincarnation of the late Kyabje Yongzin Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. His Holiness lovingly bestowed guidance and advice regarding the reincarnation.

Having been told that I should accompany them on this occasion, I did so. Thus, I had the tremendous fortune to enter His Holiness’s presence.

I offer this with prayers that this Protector may remain steadfast for hundreds of aeons as the glorious guardian of the doctrine and beings, and that his profound wishes and intentions may be spontaneously accomplished without obstacle.
