Two Retreats

Drupon Khen Rinpoche recently presided over two retreats for enthusiastic practitioners in Taiwan.

Hwayue and Thrangu Dharmakara had each invited Rinpoche to Taiwan but, being unable to travel there in person on this occasion, they subsequently requested him to teach via the internet.

Rinpoche offered frank and heartfelt advice for people doing their best to practise the Dharma while occupied with modern city-life. He also invited questions from the participants and provided answers with his usual mix of humour, warmth, directness and insight.

The retreat with Hwayue took place from April 17th to the 23rd and the Dharmakara retreat was from April 24th to the 27th.

Both groups expressed the sentiment that they found the teachings to be very beneficial and Rinpoche said that he had no other wish for teaching them than that.
