A Visit From My Lama

Yesterday, on the 10th day of the waxing moon, my Lama graced my house with his presence. I had nothing to offer other than my promise to live simply, content with few desires. To this he replied: “What greater offering could there be? Live long! Live long indeed. This is wonderful!”
