A Dear Student
Venerable Lama Zangpo has spent more than fifteen years in retreat, twelve of which were under my guidance. He is a gelong (fully ordained monk) of gentle character and steadfast disposition.
At present, he serves as the head of Kagyu Samye Dzong Glasgow Dharma Centre. His endeavours to purchase a new centre in Lochwinnoch (just outside the city of Glasgow) fulfil a long-held wish of both Choje Akong Rinpoche and Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche.
At the new centre, Lama Zangpo has begun a programme of Dharma teachings and daily practice sessions with the students, with the hope that a genuine Dharma community may take shape. Rejoicing in this, it is also my own wish, and the wish of others like me, that this be accomplished.
Lama Zangpo does not seek to use the name of the sacred Dharma to accumulate wealth. Rather, through the combined efforts of teacher and students, they aspire to establish a pure Dharma community that serves and benefits the Buddhadharma and sentient beings. I pray their aspirations may be fulfilled with ease.

བླ་མ་བཟང་པོ་མཆོག་ནི་མི་ལོ་བཅོ་ལྔ་ལྷག་གི་ཡུན་དུ་མཚམས་ལ་བཞུགས་ཡོད། དེ་ལས་ལོ་བཅུ་གཉིས་ནི་ངའི་འོག་ཏུ་མཚམས་ལ་བཞུགས་པ་རེད། ཁོང་ནི་གཤིས་རྒྱུད་འཇམ་ལ་མི་ཚུགས་བརྟན་པོ་ཡོད་པའི་དགེ་སློང་ཞིག་ཡིན།
ད་ལྟ་ཁོང་གིས་བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་བསམ་ཡས་རྫོང་གེ་ལ་ཟ་གོ་ (Kagyu Samye Dzong Glasgow) ཆོས་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་གཙོ་འཛིན་གནང་བཞིན་ཡོད། བློག་ཝིན་ནོག་ (Lochwinnoch) ཞེས་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་ཕྱི་རོལ་དུ་ལྟེ་གནས་གསར་པ་ཞིག་ཉོས་པའི་ལས་དོན་ལ་ལྟ་རྟོགས་གནང་བཞིན་པ་དེ་ནི་༧ཆོས་རྗེ་ཨ་དཀོན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་དང་༧བླ་མ་ཡེ་ཤེས་བློ་གསལ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་གི་ཡུན་རིང་གི་བཞེད་དགོངས་ཇི་བཞིན་སྒྲུབ་པ་ཞིག་རེད། དེ་རུ་ཉིན་རེ་བཞིན་དུ་སློབ་མ་རྣམས་དང་ལྷན་ཏུ་ཐུན་བཅད་པ་དང་བཀའ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ལས་རིམ་འགོ་འཛུགས་གནང་སྟེ། ཆོས་ཀྱི་ཚོགས་སྡེ་ཞིག་ཆགས་ཐུབ་རྒྱུ་རེ་བ་འཆང་བཞིན་འདུག རྗེས་སུ་ཡི་རང་དང་དེ་ནི་ང་དང་ང་འདྲ་བ་དག་གི་རེ་འདུན་ཡང་དེ་ཉིད་ཡིན།
བླ་མ་བཟང་པོ་ཉིད་ནས་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་མིང་ཐོག་ནས་ནོར་མི་སྒྲུབ་པ་དང་། ལྟེ་གནས་དེར་བླ་སློབ་ཐུན་མོངས་ནས་ཤུགས་རྒྱབ་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་དང་སེམས་ཅན་ལ་ཕན་ཐོག་ཡོད་པའི་ཚོགས་སྡེ་གཙང་མ་ཞིག་འཛུགས་ཨེ་ཐུབ་ལྟ་རྒྱུའི་རེ་འདུན་དང་རེ་འདུན་དེ་བདེ་བླག་ཏུ་འགྲུབ་པའི་སྨོན་ལམ་ཡང་ཞུ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན། བླ་མ་མཆོག་གི་སྐུ་ཚེ་བརྟན་པ་དང་མཛད་འཕྲིན་རྒྱས་པའི་སྨོན་འདུན་བཅས། ཀརྨ་ལྷ་བུ་ནས།
