Thrangu Sekhar Retreat Centre’s 10th Cycle of Retreat
Yesterday, on this auspicious day, through the compassionate blessings of our supreme guide, the late Lord of Refuge, Yongdzin Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, and by the collective efforts of the devoted staff, Thrangu Sekhar Retreat Centre’s 10th cycle of retreat was completed, while the 12th cycle newly commenced.
Likewise, the retreatants of Thrangu Sekhar International Meditation Centre’s 2nd cycle completed the six-year meditation programme, which progresses from the preliminaries through to the main practice of calm abiding and insight. New retreatants have entered the 4th cycle of the six-year retreat. All the related proceedings were conducted simultaneously.
This auspicious event was attended by Choje Lama Wangchuk and Tulku Damcho Rinpoche, and also by representatives from the different branches of the monastery, local government leaders and many faithful devotees. The event was brought to a most excellent and auspicious completion.
It should be clarified that the 11th and 3rd cycles are currently ongoing. As for the retreatants of the 2nd cycle who have just finished their six-year retreat, they will all continue practising calm abiding and insight meditation in retreat. The group of the 10th cycle will continue to practise in strict retreat at Pulahari. Thus, I pray they may bring their practice to its ultimate completion.

དེ་ག་ནང་བཞིན་ཁྲ་འགུ་སྲས་མཁར་རྒྱལ་སྤྱིའི་སྒོམ་སྒྲུབ་ཁང་དུ་སྔོན་འགྲོ་ནས་དངོས་གཞིའི་ཞི་ལྷག་གི་བར་ལོ་དྲུག་གི་སྒོམ་རིམ་ཅན་གྱི་སྒྲུབ་ཐེངས་གཉིས་པའི་སྒྲུབ་གྲྭ་པ་རྣམ་གྲོལ་ཞིང་། སྒྲུབ་ཐེངས་བཞི་པའི་མི་གསར་བཞུགས་བཅས་ཀྱི་མཛད་རིམ་རྣམས་དུས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བྱས། རྟེན་འབྲེལ་མཛད་སྒོའི་སྐབས་ཆོས་རྗེ་བླ་མ་དབང་ཕྱུག་དང་མཆོག་སྤྲུལ་དམ་ཆོས་རིན་པོ་ཆེས་གཙོས་པའི་རང་དགོན་ཡན་ལག་དང་བཅས་པའི་སྐུ་ཚབ་རྣམས་དང་། ས་གནས་གཞུང་གི་དབུ་འཛིན་རྣམས། དེ་བཞིན་དད་ལྡན་མི་དམངས་རྣམས་མཉམ་བཞུགས་ཐོག་ལེགས་གྲུབ་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པར་བྱུང་སོང་། གསལ་བཤད་ཞུ་དགོས་པ་ཞིག་ལ། སྒྲུབ་ཐེངས་བཅུ་གཅིག་པ་དང་སྒྲུབ་ཐེངས་གསུམ་པ་རྣམས་ད་ལྟར་བཞུགས་བཞིན་པ་དང་། ད་ལྟར་གྲོལ་བའི་སྒྲུབ་ཐེངས་གཉིས་པའི་སྒྲུབ་གྲྭ་པ་རྣམས་ད་དུང་མུ་མཐུད་དུ་ཞི་ལྷག་གི་ཉམས་ལེན་མཛད་མོས་དང་། སྒྲུབ་ཐེངས་བཅུ་པ་ཡང་ཕུ་ལ་ཧ་རི་ལ་མུ་མཐུད་སྐུ་མཚམས་བཞུགས་རྒྱུ་ལགས་ན་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་ནས་སྒྲུབ་པ་མཐའ་རུ་ཕྱིན་པའི་སྨོན་འདུན་ཞུ་བ་དང་བཅས་ཀརྨ་ལྷ་བུ་ནས།
