Passing of Yangchen Tarap

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Yangchen Tarap, beloved wife and consort of Choje Akong Rinpoche.

This is saddening news for all of us connected with Akong Rinpoche and, of course, with Yangchen herself, … such is the nature of existence in this transient world.

I extend my heartfelt condolences and warmest wishes to her children, Kami, Jigme, and Chogyal, and to the rest of Yangchen’s family.
