The Sister of HH Karmapa’s Visit to the Site of Drolung Mountain Retreat

Jetsün Ngödrup Pelzom, the elder sister of His Holiness the Glorious Gyalwang Karmapa, together with her entourage, graciously made a special visit to the site of the new Drolung Mountain Retreat, looking upon me with such generosity as if common earth were seen as gold.

I express my sincere and boundless gratitude for her unforgettable kindness and commendation, for her careful inspection of the site, and for the support and encouragement she extended from the depths of her heart, uplifting our spirits and strengthening our resolve.

In these times, even a single word of approval from high lamas and prominent figures for such undertakings has become rare, let alone genuine support.

I pray that your lives may be long and that all your aspirations may be fully and perfectly fulfilled.
