Geshe Lharampa Tehor Dawa Tsering at Thrangu Sekhar
The great spiritual friend Geshe Lharampa Tehor Dawa Tsering was invited to Thrangu Sekhar Retreat Centre in Nepal on 31st January 2025. During his visit, he extolled the system of training at the centre and offered an abundance of precious advice for enhancing our studies and learning and much more based on his own experience. For this, I would like to express my deepest gratitude. Thank you!
On Geshe la’s departure from the retreat centre, he graciously promised to offer whatever assistance in the Dharma was needed, and holding my hands tightly in his, he shed tears with intense emotion. For me, it felt as if I was bidding farewell to a close and longstanding Dharma friend. An ineffable feeling welled up, and I was similarly moved to tears that I could not hold back.
With full sincerity of heart, I blurted out that although my only wish is to be of some service to the Buddhadharma, I am powerless to achieve anything of much benefit. I wonder if it is because we share a common goal and purpose that we were so moved and formed such a close bond so quickly. Or, perhaps, it is due to some other deep karmic connection.
Whatever the case may be, our meeting has left a profound and indelible impression on me that will be impossible to forget during the course of this life.
