Hong Kong – 1st October – Evening

1st October – Evening

This evening Drupon Khen Rinpoche taught at the Utpala Dharma Centre in Hong Kong.

Rinpoche spoke about the need to be intelligent in how we approach our path in the Dharma. He emphasised how essential it is to analyse carefully whether we are actually improving by what we are doing or not and how there must absolutely be a beneficial result from what we do in the Dharma.

Rinpoche also taught a couple of the key points of the Tara practice, which is practiced in the Dharma Centre. He taught how, although we externalise Tara as a source of protection, the practice text makes it clear that we practise being Tara ourselves, since Tara is our nature and ultimately we are our own protector.
