Teaching at Thrangu Sekhar Retreat Centre, 2013–2014
Drupon Rinpoche returned to Nepal in November 2013 to continue teaching the retreatants in Thrangu Sekar Retreat Centre, Baktapur. He led the retreatants of Naro Ling through their coming out ceremony. He resumed teaching the lamas of the Tilo Ling group and the new group on the Naro Ling side.
He also divided his time between the Western and Eastern students of Khacho Ling. For the Westerners, he continued focussing on The Way of the Bodhisattva, open to all, and on giving individual mind instructions for those committed to longer retreats. His Eastern students were taught The Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva and Torch of Certainty.
Rinpoche's commitment to his students is truly exceptional. Not only does he hold a most impossible daily schedule, but he also made sure that many of his devoted students had a place to stay. He transformed the Milarepa tower into accommodation as without it, some twenty students wouldn't have had the opportunity to be there.
