What I have to say concerns me personally. At the moment I’m quite sure there are a number of people who are highly critical of me, who don’t like me. But in my eyes I don’t have a single enemy in this world. I don’t mind what people say about me, I’ve got nothing against anyone.
So if you hear someone speaking negatively about me and you have some faith in me, I ask that you not respond. Please do not generate attachment and aversion, and commit misdeeds in my name or on my behalf.
If, on the other hand, I can become a means by which you can generate more renunciation, virtue, compassion and the like, that would make me very, very happy.
