A message from Drupon Rinpoche follwing the Vesak
Yesterday (10th May 2017) was Vesak, the anniversary of the birth of our kind Teacher, the Buddha; celebrated internationally and recognised by the United Nations. On this auspicious day, to commemorate the Buddha’s kindness, I received the vows of a full Bhikshu from the lord of refuge and spiritual instructor Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche in the presence of the requisite sangha of khenpo and masters. In doing so I pray that the teachings of the Buddha thrive and the lives of khenpos, masters and spiritual friends be steadfast, as their activities and deeds to benefit others flourish. For my humble self, life after life may I never part from the treasuries of moral discipline.
